About the PTO

The Donelson Christian Academy Parent Teacher Organization (DCA PTO) exists as a subsidiary of DCA. The DCA PTO supports the academic, social, and spiritual needs of DCA. This site is dedicated to the DCA PTO. If you are interested in learning more about DCA, please visit the website

Why become a member of the DCA PTO? One word...Fellowship!

Membership & Dues

The following individuals are eligible for membership in the PTO:

  • DCA faculty and staff
  • DCA alumni
  • DCA Board of Trustees, past and present
  • DCA parents or legal guardians and relatives

Membership dues are $10 per family for the 2013-2014 school year. With your membership you will receive a $5.00 reloadable Kroger card and automatically be enrolled in our Scrip Program. Each PTO member family has one vote.

To join the PTO, download the membership form and send it in to your child's homeroom teacher or any of the three offices.

There are a minimum of two membership meetings each year, one per semester. These meetings are currently held immediately prior to the Elementary Christmas Program during the Fall semester and the Spring Elementary Musical during the Spring semester. The Spring meeting is the annual meeting at which time annual reports are received. The privilege of holding office, making motions, debating, and voting is limited to PTO members.
